AED a nonprofit organization founded in 1961 works globally to improve education, health, civil society, and economic development--the foundation of thriving societies.
The U.S. Education and Workforce Development Group in AED works at all levels of the education system to build the capacity of states, districts, schools, and communities to improve education and life outcomes for low-income students and their families. The Decision Rubrics assessment tool was developed with the support of the Wallace Foundation and with major contributions from the following experts in district and state policy: Jane Armstrong, John Schoener, and Alexandra Weinbaum.
